GOC Annual Report 2009-10 goes live

10 Nov 2010

Back to news listing

The General Optical Council (GOC) has now published its 2009-10 Annual Report. It is available online from http://annualreport09-10.optical.org

The report reviews the GOC’s achievements and activities from April 2009 to March 2010 including:
• statistics about GOC registrants, CET and fitness to practise
• the Council’s strategy for the next five years
• work developing an online retention system
• how the GOC has involved stakeholders in its work

In response to feedback, for the second year in a row the GOC has published the report online. This has made significant cost savings, and comes as part of its continued drive to be a modern, efficient regulator.

The Annual Report website allows you to build and print your own customised report – whether you’d like the complete document or just the sections which interest you.
