Council agrees fee for paper-based CET points verification

Registrants who submit paper-based CET records for verification will pay a two-part fee. The first part, of £169, will be paid at renewal as usual, with a further £50 fee payable on submission of paper-based CET records for verification.

The majority of registrants, who use the cetoptics website to record completed CET, will not see any increase in fees from 2005/6 levels. Today’s meeting of the GOC Council agreed the fee, which reflects the significant additional administrative burden and costs of processing paper submissions.

The Council praised the support being provided to those unfamiliar with IT systems by the professional and representative bodies and some CET providers.
