Love Your (Spooky) Lenses

It’s that time of year again – falling leaves, pumpkin flavoured things and Halloween! As part of the Love Your Lenses (LYL) campaign, we are reminding people of our tips to avoid getting spooked by eye damage this Halloween, and we encourage you to do the same.

By law, zero powered contact lenses should only be sold by a doctor or registered optician. Buying cosmetic contact lenses without professional involvement is a risk as these sellers cannot provide the advice needed to wear contact lenses safely.

Halloween is the perfect opportunity to remind patients about good contact lens care and to only buy their coloured lenses from a registered and qualified optician or doctor.
