Social Media

Social media can be a great tool both socially and professionally. Many optical practitioners are successfully using social media to promote the services they provide at the optical business they work in or own. It can also be a great platform for educating patients and the public about eye care. Videos and images can be a very useful way of making clinical advice easier for patients to understand. For example, watch our 'Land The Message' video for this year's Love Your Lenses week.

We are keen to engage with registrants on social media. Contact us on Twitter and LinkedIn to ask us questions about registering with us, Continuing Education and Training (CET), or any other general queries you may have. Please do not contact us via social media with any specific Fitness to Practise (FTP) case queries instead contact us privately and directly via email: or telephone 020 7307 9474.

Are you following us on social media? If not, you should be! To keep up to date with the latest GOC news follow our social media pages. Find us on Twitter at  @GOC_UK and on LinkedIn.

We also publish information videos on YouTube.
