After the UK’s exit from the EU on 29 March 2019, EU citizens will be able to apply for UK immigration status under the EU Settlement Scheme.

The UK Government has now launched a pilot to test the application process that EU citizens and their family members will use.

EU citizens who currently work in the health and social care sectors can take part in the pilot until the 21st December. Making an application in the pilot is entirely voluntary. Flu Jab

More and more healthcare professionals are taking a pro-active approach to flu prevention this winter. Figures released in November by Public Health England have shown that for the 2018/19 flu season 6,785 more frontline healthcare workers received the flu vaccine from 1 September to 31 October compared to the same period last year. Currently nearly 500,000 frontline healthcare workers have received their flu vaccination.
