General Optical Council

What does it do?
The Remuneration Committee advises the Council on:

1. the terms and conditions of staff employment
2. remuneration packages for staff ie salaries and benefits
3. the policy for reimbursing expenses to staff, members, advisers and visitors
4. the policy for fee payments to members, visitors, advisers and contractors.

How often does it meet?
Usually three times a year, but more frequently if needed.
